Tofield Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast

The Tofield Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is held every year by the Tofield Ministerial Association to recognize and support the politicians and other leaders in local communities who work on behalf of the public.

“This morning we gather to honour our leaders,” said Pastor Kevin Langager, who gave the welcome. “On the mayor’s behalf, I welcome everyone,” he said, for Tofield Mayor Harold Conquest.

“We’re indeed grateful for all of you and the various ways you serve our communities,” said Langager, speaking of guests Vegreville-Wainwright MP Leon Benoit, local mayors and councillors, Beaver County councillors Kevin Smook (Division 1) and Sieko Scott (Division 2), Sgt. Doug Coleman and RCMP staff, and Beaver County Victim Services staff and volunteers.
