On Friday, April 11th, we here at Sunshine Villa were treated to a quilter’s show and tell…

Rosemary Eglauer brought in her quilts to show them to the residents and tell the stories behind them. She has many beautiful quilts. She invited residents to bring their own quilts to the presentation, to also show them and share their stories.

Lynn Gates assisted Rosemary in her presentation of the quilts. Rosemary donated a door prize of two lap robes for a residents’ draw. Winners were Fern Lehman and Eleanor Wideman.

On Monday, April 14th, we enjoyed a visit from the afternoon class of the Discovery Early Learning Preschool that meets at “the house” church. The kids paired up with the residents for an Easter egg hunt. For more see the April 23/14 issue of the Tofield Mercury
