Sunshine Villa holds “Run for the Roses” Spring Tea – emulates Kentucky Derby with wearing of hats

The Sunshine Villa in Tofield held its own “Run for the Roses” Spring Tea, named after the Kentucky Derby held on the same date of May 3. The tea is also borrowing a theme from the derby of wearing hats for the occasion. Joyce Mackie was one of the people served tea and dessert by volunteer Trudy Mizibrocky, villa activity coordinator Julie Ishida and villa administrative assistant Veronica Rogers. Tea goers enjoyed visiting while Garry Francis played some lovely music on his keyboard.
