Tofield Sodbuster Rodeo plans are set!

Get ready, the Tofield Sodbuster Rodeo is coming May 30 – June 1, and it promises to be fun for everyone.

Rodeo Chair Rick Neufeld anticipates another full entry in our Rodeo, expecting nearby cowboys and cowgirls to be entered. Co-sanctioned with both the Lakeland Rodeo Association and the Wildrose Rodeo Association, the Tofield Sodbuster Rodeo is one of the favourites, drawing some of the highest entries in the LRA.

The Rodeo weekend kicks off with the always popular Promenade (Street Fair) and is planned again – Mainstreet Friday night – May 30. Sponsored by the Tofield Chamber of Commerce, this event has a little something for everyone – a Scavenger Hunt, Fortune Tellers, food venues inflatable fun, and much more!

The “Best Dressed Western” for kids 10 & under is back! Wally’s Amusement returns to town with his ponies and teacup ride, and “Chicken John’s” Petting Zoo will be set up, too! It’s a great outing for the whole family.
