Tofield throws out the welcome mat for those attending Sodbuster Rodeo weekend

Tofield threw out the welcome mat last weekend for all those coming to enjoy the 2014 Sodbuster Rodeo and Promenade.

It’s a time for everyone to get their party hats on and have a good time, and there were many venues and types of entertainment to choose from over the three-day extravaganza.

Organizers out-did themselves this year with a Promenade Friday night that featured fun for people of all ages. Inflatables were very popular and street performers performed magic and other tricks. Wally’s Amusement rides added to the fun, along with a scavenger hunt, a Best Dressed Western “Under 10” contest, and food vendors to delight the palate.

The Tofield Legion was open for kids’ activities, video games and other fun, and the kids also enjoyed “Chicken John’s” petting zoo… For more see the June 3/14 issue of the Tofield Mercury
