The Beaver County Victim Services Ron Robinson Memorial Golf Tournament and Dinner was true to its word, in that, “Rain or shine…it goes!”

The day was an extremely cold one last Thursday, even though it was early June. The Texas style format included nine holes of golf followed by a delicious lunch. “We pull out all the stops for the lunch,” said organizer Ken Stumph. The luncheon was set up in a huge tent on the grounds.

This is Beaver County Victim Service’s major fundraiser of the year. VS supports victims of crime as they deal with the police and court systems, and other incidents such as accidents that cause trauma and require emotional and other types of support for those affected.
