Ryley Sports Day and Family Fair

The Ryley Sports Day and Family Fair parade Saturday morning was just the beginning of a day full of fun and activities. The day started with a free pancake breakfast at the Community Hall provided by Ryley Council. There were baseball and slo-pitch games all day Saturday with finals on Sunday. The Curling Rink featured a village market/garage sale with entertainment by the singing duo Off the Cuff. REDS hosted a rooster drop and chicken run, FCSS hosted carnival fun, and there were also free children’s inflatables to play on. RC car races were also held. The day concluded with a dinner at the community centre hosted by Beaver Heritage and Agricultural Society, followed by a dance hosted by the Ryley Rebels.
