Beaverhill Sporting Clays venue for International Trap Shooting Provincial Championships
Beaverhill Sporting Clays, north of Tofield, now has an Olympic-level bunker with 15 trap machines inside, making it possible to host last weekend’s International Trapshooting Provincial championships for the first time.
However, as this will be the new home for those
training to compete in serious competition within Canada and on the world stage, it won’t be the last time that seriously good trapshooters will be coming here to shoot.
The ISSF standard bunker holds 15 Speith trapshooting machines to make high level practicing now possible.
Organizer Sandra Honour said the past year has been spent getting the bunker with its machines and shooting stage up and running.
