Upside down tree creation draws widespread comment on social media
“One man’s meat is another man’s poison,” so the expression goes, and that can apply to someone’s creative works as well.
One Ryley area man is starting to make a name for himself after his work of upside down trees, skulls and horns, among other items, appeared on a local website and sparked lots of controversy and comment.
Doyle Booth, who goes by the name Punky, raises quarterhorses on his land next the Beaver Municipal Solutions (BMS) landfill. Booth said the creative work began when he was hauling a dead tree home one day, and liked how it looked upside down.
