Fenske nominated by acclamation as P.C. candidate for Vegreville-Wainwright

Current MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville Jacquie Fenske has been given the official nod to represent her party as the candidate for this riding in the next provincial election.

Glenn Hennig, nomination committee chairman for the Progressive Conservative Constituency Association, made the announcement Feb. 21.

“Jacquie’s very hard work during the past three years was very evident as she significantly exceeded the number of names that were required for the nomination from supporters in this constituency.”

In a statement following the nomination process, Fenske said: “The nomination process has been one more opportunity to hear directly from constituents. I am honoured and humbled to have received the support of so many constituents.
