Shuffleboard begins at Tofield Community Hall

The air was filled with excitement for members of the Tofield Seniors’ Club as they tried out their new shuffleboard facility at the Tofield Community Hall Monday afternoon.

The activity had been moved from the Mennonite Church and will take place every Monday starting at 1 p.m.

Doug Hardy, who takes care of the ice at the Tofield Curling Club, painted the lines for the new venue.

There were 32 eager players participating on this first day. On hand were the town’s Assistant CAO Jeff Edwards and facilities manager Vanita Eglauer….
