Cultural Days Supper to be an entertaining time – Featuring blue grass band Almighty Twang from Ryley

The Tofield and Area Health Foundation Supper coming this Friday, Sept. 25 will be a fun event planned for everyone to celebrate culture and food, with some down home entertainment.

Almighty Twang, a three-man blue grass band from Ryley whose members believe in having fun with their music, will play some lively tunes for all to enjoy. The event takes place at the Tofield Community Hall, with supper starting at 6:30 p.m.

“It’s all part of Alberta Culture Days which runs through the province on the weekend,” said Beaver County Reeve Kevin Smook, who sits on the foundation board.

“With the continuing growth in newcomers in our community, the event is a great opportunity for area residents, both long-time and newcomers, to get together and get to know one another.”… for more see the Sept. 22/15 Mercury
