County urges BMS to keep its office building local – Holding all local commissions under one roof also an option

Beaver Municipal Solutions (BMS) is still considering its options for where to place its offices, and asked Beaver County’s opinion at the regular county council meeting of Friday, Nov. 13.

In the past, the topic has created some heated debate among local county residents who stated they wanted the BMS building to remain local. Currently, the office building is located at the landfill northeast of Ryley.

BMS provided county council with a report outlining the situation and options under consideration.

The document, entitled “Office Space Review – 2015” stated that current office space is strained due to increased growth by BMS.
