Reeve and council address road and bridge issues with Alberta Transportation at rural convention
Beaver County Reeve Kevin Smook and the rest of county council addressed road and bridge issues with Alberta Transportation officials at last week’s rural municipal convention in Edmonton.
Smook reported that the intersection at Highway 14 and Secondary Highway 834 east of Tofield was also discussed. Transportation told council that re-routing construction for that location is “on their radar,” he said.
The re-routing of 834 would prevent traffic heading north to Highway 16 from going past C.W. Sears Elementary School.
