Clarion call goes out for Christmas Hamper volunteers

As the final week of the Community Christmas Hamper program is upon us, the final push to prepare the hampers for pickup and delivery begins. This is where the volunteers are most needed, and most appreciated.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16th at 1 p.m. – volunteers with trucks are needed to help pick up non-perishable food do-nations and orders, and transport them to the Tofield Community Hall. Volunteers who don’t have a vehicle can come to the Community Hall to help unload the trucks. If you are able to help on Dec. 16th, please contact FCSS at 780-662-7067.

This way we can be sure we have enough vehicles!

On Friday, Dec. 18th – 10 a.m. at the hall – volunteers are welcome to come to help sort the food donations, build the hampers boxes, and prepare for the hamper packing that will begin at 1 p.m. Lunch will be available for all volunteers!
