Tofield Pee Wees win Tier 2 tournament in Stettler

Tofield Pee Wees travelled to Stettler on Jan. 30, where they came home as Tier 2 Pee Wee Tournament champions.

Tofield won all three games that day.

In the semi-final Gavin Heinrichs scored a heroic last minute goal against Spruce Grove to tie the contest and send it to overtime.

After five minutes the OT didn’t decide anything, so the teams went to a shoot-out.

Three players from each team were chosen for the SO, and even after that the teams remained tied….
