RCMP investigate shooting while driving on Hwy. 14; Tofield Packers ATM found in bush

Tofield RCMP are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the wee hours of Monday, March 28 while two males were driving along Highway 14.

Cpl. John Powell reports that “a suspect motor vehicle had pulled alongside their (the two men’s) vehicle and an occupant fired several gunshots in the victim’s vehicle.”

ATM Discovered: Tofield RCMP have recovered the badly beaten up ATM stolen from Tofield Packers in a robbery where thieves placed straps around the machine and pulled it out of the building through the wall on March 2.

A gaping hole was created when the window and the door was smashed in.
