Motorcycle Ride for Dad needs Tofield volunteers for stop in community June 11 by 1,200 expected bikers
If you want to help out in a good cause that is also exciting, then the Ride for Dad fundraiser against prostate cancer taking place June 11 needs your help.
This is the first time the poker rally has stopped in Tofield, and the local Chamber of Commerce hopes the community will make it so memorable it will become an annual event.
Volunteers will be needed to greet and/or guide 1,200 riders or more that will be coming through.
They could also help park the motorbikes, hand out playing cards to the bikers and mark their passports as having been to Tofield on their fundraising journey. Take down and cleanup support will also be needed after the event is over.
All funds raised will go to fighting prostate cancer. Anyone interested in helping out should attend an information session being held at the Tofield Arena meeting room on Wednesday, April 6 starting at 7 p.m.
