Council peppered with question by residents worried about Ryley’s future

Villagers peppered Ryley Council with questions regarding the 2016 draft operating budget and list of proposed projects presented at a community meeting held April 7.

Council came prepared with a long list of ideas to improve the village over 1-5, and 5- 20, year periods. The residents criticized the lack of amenities in the village to attract families and business, despite the long list of proposed improvements council brought to the meeting.

Residents were asked to list their top 10 priorities and council would then use this information to determine its 2016 capital budget.
