Kingman Rink of Dreams project starts online auctions for sports memorabilia

Chief organizer for the Kingman Rink of Dream Project Trent Kenyon reports progress is being made on the project.

“We now have $140,000 cash towards the project,” he said. “We are anticipating beginning construction of the new rink boards in early July. With the construction phase close, now we are asking for local contractors to get involved in the project and help out in anyway they can.”

The overall goal for in-kind and monetary help is $290,980 to build the only NHL sized outdoor rink in the area with steel frame dasher boards, player boxes, penalty benches and a Zamboni to groom the ice.
