Ryley graduating class of 2016 – “Look Out World”

The 2016 Ryley graduation theme “Look Out World” was chosen by a Grade 12 class preparing themselves for another chapter in their lives.

The special celebration took place last Saturday starting in the afternoon with the banquet at 4:30 p.m. with teacher Wendy Butler acting as master of ceremonies and Principal Steve Ioanidis giving the Blessing.

Toasts followed with Vice-Principal Matt Spronk toasting the graduates, graduate Bryce Teske toasting the school staff, and graduate Jaron Lauber toasting. Lonnie Lauber gave the reply.

School trustee Rebecca Heiberg brought greetings from Battle River School Division Board of Education, which was acknowledged by BRSD’s Brett Hukulak. Deputy Mayor Peter Presley brought greetings from the Village of Ryley and Mayor Carl Marsh did the same for the Village of Holden.
