Tour de l’Alberta cyclists stop at station in Tofield
For the first time, cyclists participating in the Tour de l’Alberta event rolled through Tofield and made a pit stop to rest and rejuvenate.
Upwards of 200 cyclists came east down Highway 14 from Beaumont and turned into Tofield at the service road. Their journey took them to the east side of Tofield to make a pit stop at the soccer pitch parking lot.
There was green grass to relax on and snacks and refreshments to enjoy before heading back out onto the road.
This is Alberta’s largest one-day bike tour and is held on the last day of the famous Tour de France.
