Holden holds all candidate’s forum
The Village of Holden Council election forum was held on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Seniors Drop-In Centre with six candidates vying for the five council seats available.
Candidates are incumbents Bernie Marko and Mark Giebelhaus, as well as Jim Boutilier, Doug Hanson, John Markel and Steve Marusiak.
Each candidate gave a platform speech before the question and answer period for those attending. One woman said the communication by council was “far from adequate,” and said council should “communicate better with the public.”
