Fun and games at the Tofield summer program

For the past eight years the Town of Tofield has organized the summer program and it has been a place for children to hang out.

Each day of the week, the program has a theme.

For Friday, July 13, Jazmin Roe, who runs the program decided that the kids could relate back to Canada Day, celebrated just a few days back.

Roe added twists to classic games by including aspects that represent the country.

For example instead of Duck, Duck, Goose! the game was changed to Duck, Duck, Moose! “When a player is chosen as moose they have to run around pretending to have antlers,” Roe explained, laughing.

However, she did not stop with the games, there were crafts too to keep the program participants engaged.
