Female arrested for public intoxication in Tofield
During the past week the Tofield RCMP responded to 46 calls for service. Included in the calls for service were three false alarms and two motor vehicle collisions.
On July 23, a break and enter was reported at a rural location in Beaver County. The caller advised a communication tower had been broken into and some batteries and other miscellaneous items were stolen.
On July 25, Tofield RCMP were on patrol on Hwy. 14 and conducted a vehicle stop on a Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver was found to have an outstanding pay or stay warrant for his arrest out of Edmonton. The driver was unable to come up with the money and was transported to Edmonton Remand Center after his vehicle was towed.
On July 25, Tofield RCMP were on patrol in Beaver County and conducted a vehicle stop on a Chevrolet pickup truck. The driver of the vehicle was found to have been consuming alcohol. A 24-hour suspension was issued to the driver and the vehicle was towed.
