Two suspicious males at IGA alert RCMP

During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 40 calls for service. Included in the calls for service were four 911 calls, and two motor vehicle collisions.

On Nov. 7, Tofield RCMP were on patrol and conducted a vehicle stop on a Black Subaru Impreza. The driver of the vehicle had failed to stop at a stop sign and was unable to produce insurance for the vehicle. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Camrose for no insurance and was arrested on the outstanding pay or stay warrant. The driver was able to come up with the funds needed and was released from custody. The driver, a 21-year-old male from Sherwood Park was issued a violation ticket for failing to obey a traffic control device and a summons for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

On Nov. 8, Tofield RCMP were called to the IGA in Tofield for two suspicious males. The males were at the IGA at 4 a.m. wearing all black with their faces covered. The suspects fled prior to police arrival and the building was checked and was secure. . . . contd.
