Alberta Party nominee hopefuls meet with community members

The Gravity Lounge at Norsemen Inn in Camrose was abuzz as Alberta Party nominee hopefuls from the new Camrose riding, Tofield’s Kevin Smook and Camrose’s Steven Hansen met up with community members prior to the final selection process on Saturday, Dec. 1.

“It was a chance to meet with people who were either already members of the party, or were curious and wanted to hear directly from us,” said Smook. “We engaged in many conversations about issues like post-secondary education, efficiencies in healthcare, rural transportation, the carbon tax, minimum wage, and more.” . . . contd.
