Jewellery theft from Tofield residence during property showings

During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 45 calls for service. Included in the calls for service were seven motor vehicle collisions and two false alarms.

On Nov. 19, a resident of Tofield reported a theft of jewellery from her residence. The caller reported they were trying to sell their residence and have had several showings. On checking her jewellery box, several items were missing.

On Nov. 19, a resident of Holden reported sometime overnight suspect(s) entered his vehicle. Several items including the registration, insurance and tools were stolen from the vehicle.

On Nov. 20, Tofield RCMP received a call of a truck pulling a trailer loaded with two skidoos. The trailer became detached from the truck almost striking a parked vehicle. The truck fled the scene after losing the trailer. RCMP attended and found the two skidoos had been stolen from a business in Tofield. The trailer and Skidoos were returned to the owner. . . . contd.
