RCMP report various thefts of rural property

During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 51 calls for service.  Included in the calls for service is four motor vehicle collisions.

 

On November 26, 2018 Strathcona County Integrated Traffic Unit was on patrol on Highway 14.  A vehicle stop was conducted and on checking the driver, she was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest out of Edmonton for Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and for failing to attend court.  The driver, a 19 yr old female from Carrot Creek, was released from custody on a Promise to Appear to attend Edmonton Provincial Court.

 

On November 26, 2018 a resident of Beaver County reported a theft from his rural residence.  The caller reported his grain auger was stolen from his residence.

 

On November 26, 2018 Viking RCMP received a report of a theft from the Holden Arena.  The male was reporting he had attended a hockey game in Holden and on leaving, found his cheque book had been stolen out of his vehicle.  On contacting the bank, one of the cheques had attempted to have been cashed in Edmonton.  A suspect has been identified and RCMP are still investigating.

 

On November 26, 2018 a resident of Beaver County reported a break and enter on his property.  The caller reported several outlying buildings had been entered.  Some keys and other miscellaneous items were stolen from the property.
