CW Sears ushers in festive spirit with its annual Christmas concert

This past Thursday, Dec. 13, community members came together with the CW Sears family to host their annual Christmas concert at the House Ministries in Tofield.

Two shows, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening were performed in order to accommodate seating for all.

“This was our first year at The House, and we chose the venue for it’s large seating capacity, the ease of set up, the comfortable chairs, stage, and sound system, that made so much less set up and take down for staff and parent volunteers,” said Principal Emily Coykendall. “The acoustics are amazing and it allowed students to showcase their musical talents very well, and we really appreciated the staff at the House running the sound for us.”

For the annual concert, CW Sears students start practicing after Remembrance Day and then in December they start group rehearsals where all the classes in the same grade are combined. . . . contd.
