Local businesses – Tofield Towing and Parkstone Liquor – targeted
During the past week Tofield RCMP responded to 40 calls for service.
On Jan. 8, the Tofield RCMP responded to a residence in Tofield for an assault. The RCMP attended and found two parties had been arguing which escalated to one party punching the other approximately six times. The suspect a 37-year-old female was still on scene and was arrested and charged with one count of assault and was released from custody on a Promise to Appear to attend Vegreville Provincial Court on Feb. 4, at 10 a.m.
On Jan. 8, Tofield Towing called to report a theft from their premises. Overnight suspect(s) attended the business and siphoned gas out of one of the trucks parked at the location.
On Jan. 12, a resident of Beaver County reported a break and enter to their residence. The home owner returned home to find fresh tire tracks and footprints at the location. The suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a window and once inside stole several items including a Toshiba TV, a spotting scope and various bottles of alcohol.
On Jan. 13, a resident of the County of Minburn was in Tofield and lost his wallet. . . . contd.
