With Alberta Party leader Stephen Mandel considered ineligible to run by Elections Alberta in the upcoming elections, along with five other candidates how does this impact local politician and Alberta Party nominee for new Camrose riding Kevin Smook.

“I have talked to many people who have asked how this will impact the party and how it will impact me, and after we’ve had a chance to discuss it, most people understand that this isn’t about politics, it’s about missing a deadline,” said Kevin Smook. “And many people agree that the penalty for missing this deadline is excessive, and I’m building support and seeking and receiving donations and contributions towards our upcoming campaign.”
