Tofield School begins building the leaders of tomorrow

In today’s world there are leaders everywhere. Tofield School wants to make sure that leadership in society continues.

A leadership class was introduced to Tofield School in early February of this year.

“This class does a variety of different activities to enhance our school environment,” said Melissa Korpan, Leadership 9 teacher. “This was an option course for the Grade 9 students to take in order to build their leadership skills.”

Korpan added that many of the students who chose to take this class already had leadership skills, but they are still continuing to build these skills in order to become better leaders.

“We are currently doing a spring cleanup project,” said Grade 9 student, Julie Anderson.”It is fun once everything is done. I feel very proud of what I have accomplished, in this class so far.” . . . contd.
