Tofield’s U11 soccer team wins bronze in weekend Bon Accord tournament

Tofield’s U11 soccer team has been having a great season, especially after the weekend bronze win at the Bon Accord tournament, where they dropped only one game.

“Our season has gone very well, we have had a record of five wins, one loss, and one tie,” said Coach Arron Peterson. “We are always working on developing individual ball handling skills, and working as a team during games.”

According to Peterson, their greatest strength is their passing.

“The kids know where they should go, and they are able to make the passes that allow us to get goals,” Peterson added. “Our weakness is that sometimes kids will get caught up in the play and leave their positions, which can burn us if the other team gets possession and makes a good pass.”
