Lions Club educates Grade 1 about flags

President Curtis Zimmer, along with Lion member and director, Kevin Smook, and former president, Dan Hillyer, spoke to the Grade 1 students about the importance of Canada Day, and quizzed them on the huge Raptors’ win.

On Monday, July 1, Zimmer will be passing on the reins to Jesse Brown, who will become the President of Tofield Lions Club for a year.

Smook, who has been a member for 25 years, looks upon this exercise as informative, and essential as they spread knowledge about the community work that the Lions Club supports and passionately advocates.
