The future is full of open doors: Joel Litwin

As the school year drew to a close, students and staff alike have began planning for the future.

While some were planning their summer holidays, others were focusing even further; especially Grade 12 students who will be beginning life after high school.

“There are a variety of different opportunities out there for students after high school,” said Principal Janice Muench on, Tuesday, June 5. “Students can choose to go straight into the workforce, attend college, attend University, train for a trade, or upgrade their high school mark.”

Muench further explained that it will be hard to know for certain if the path we choose is the best fit for us. Until students begin their journey of their chosen path, it is hard to know exactly how it fits within their dream they had for that future aspiration. Many people choose a path and make only slight adjustments to get their desired outcome.

“One path can often lead to another and that is just how life rolls sometimes,” remarked Muench. “For example, I always liked leadership. So becoming a principal seemed ideal. This job chose me more than I chose it.”

Muench recalled, that she knew since Grade 10 that she was going to have an occupation in education. . . . contd.
