Tim Hortons comes to town
Local business owner Will Tan can often be spotted behind the till in a corner, working away at numbers, often late at night, but always with a friendly smile; and finally he will be bringing Tim Hortons to town.
For Tofield and area communities, it’s a wish come true.
“I want Tofield Esso to grow, and it has the potential, so this site is being renovated with Tim Hortons in mind,” Tan said.
With more than eight years of restaurant management experience, and even more with businesses and franchises, Tan is no novice when it comes to leading and growing existing operations.
In 2015, he became a part of the community by taking over the Esso gas station, and since then it’s come a long way.
“Pizza Hut has been doing good, there’s no way I will be getting rid of it anytime,” Tan explained. “I am adding Tim Hortons to what we already have so as to complete this place for the all-in-one service station I’ve always wanted it to be.”
