“Together with my friend Elizabeth Airey, we are the Quilts of Valour and Special Projects Committee for the Sherwood Park Patchwork Quilt Guild – two of 110 women who create and donate over 400 quilts each year to many Sherwood Park and Edmonton area organizations such as women’s and homeless shelters, as well as QOV,” Krahn explained. “Our committee is responsible for completing and distributing Quilts of Valour donated from our guild.” Krahn said this was her third year in “this very gratifying position.”
