Christmas spirit at Tofield School

As the holiday season began, the Leadership Class at Tofield School started deciding on how to bring more holiday cheer into the hallways of the school.

“We have a winter themed spirit week,” said Rayanne Beatson, Grade 10 student. “Other than spirit week we plan to continue decorating the hallways at school.”

Beatson remarked that they have already strung Christmas lights up in the senior high hallway, and they have put a couple up in the lounge. Other than the lights; the group arranged colourful holiday wrapping paper as backgrounds for bulletin boards in the student lounge.

“I think the Christmas lights in the hallway are beautiful,” commented Beatson. “If we had more lights I would want to put them in every hallway because in my opinion it is one of the best ways to bring holiday cheer into the school.”
