Long Term Care staff recognized by Tofield & Area Health Services Foundation

Last Thursday, Dec. 12, the Tofield and Area Health Services Foundation recognized Long Term Care staff – Nicole Kulba and Veronica Westlake.

Present at the occasion were Chair Brenda Chehade and Board Member Yvonne Brown, who presented them with flowers and cheque.

“I feel it’s very important to recognize anyone that is doing great things in and for our community,” Chehade said.

Kulba, who is the recreation therapist was the recipient of the 2019 Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Innovative Practice Award. The provincial award is given to a professional who has developed innovative practice or research in therapeutic recreation, as well as demonstrating the sharing of knowledge and expertise with other professionals. . . . contd.
