Tofield, Holden, and Ryley Fire Departments all attended and assisted with a barn fire which had spread to a stack of round bales. There were no animals in the barn at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The fire is not considered to be suspicious.

During the early morning hours of March 27, members were dispatched to an open 911 line to a residence on 52A Street in Tofield. There was no answer on call back by the dispatcher. Members attended and witnessed a male laying on the floor of the residence unresponsive. EMS attended the residence and transported the male to the Tofield Health Centre for treatment. . . . contd.
