Suspects break into KNM Industries
The Tofield RCMP responded to a total of 35 calls for service last week.
On May 11, around 11 p.m. in the evening, Tofield RCMP received several complaints of a possible impaired driver in a dark coloured pick up swerving across multiple lanes of traffic and into ditches. The vehicle and driver were located and the driver was arrested for Impaired Operation and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample. The driver was later released for a court date.
On May 14, a break-and-enter was reported to the Tofield RCMP detachment. KNM Industries reported that someone had cut the back of the chain link fence and entered through the yard. Once in the yard, unknown persons entered the shop area and took various tools . . . contd.
