Ryley Legion members honoured with Quilts of Valour

Earlier this year, two of Ryley Legion members – Jim Nicholson and Marlene Podoborozny – were presented with ‘Quilts of Valour.’

Speaking to the occasion, Annette Short, who is also a Ryley Legion member said, “This was long overdue and it seemed to be the opportune moment; we’re happy we could do this before the COVID-19 lockdown occurred.

“Although both our members now live in the Manor in Vegreville, they’ve served a long time, and were part of the Air Force.” . . . contd.
