Tofield RCMP warns residents about telephone and computer scams
This past week the Tofield RCMP responded to 22 occurrences, including three traffic complaints and one 911 hangup. The K Division Traffic Unit along with Tofield RCMP members issued 52 violation tickets for various traffic, vehicle equipment and liquor offences.
On July 27, a commercial break, enter, and theft was reported by a local Tofield business. Multiple tools and equipment were stolen, and attempts were made to steal a truck located inside the shop but the attempt was unsuccessful. This case is still under investigation.
