The Tofield RCMP responded to 67 occurrences from Aug. 18 to 24, including one false alarm, four traffic complaints, and four motor vehicle collisions. The K Division Traffic Unit along with Tofield RCMP members issued 40 violation tickets for various traffic offences.
On Aug. 18 at 6 p.m., a resident of Tofield attended the detachment to report a gravel truck had damaged their fence when travelling down the back alley. Motor vehicle collision report was completed. At 8 p.m., several rural residents of southern Beaver County were reporting multiple ongoing gunshots being fired.
