Suspicious vehicle and person complaint reported near Ryley School

The Tofield RCMP responded to 30 occurrences from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, 2020 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was four traffic complaints.

In the morning of Sept. 28, Tofield RCMP received a complaint from a driver that he struck a deer on Hwy. 14. RCMP confirmed no injuries.

Also, in the morning of Sept. 28, Tofield RCMP received a complaint from a local business owner who reported that he was the victim of a $10,000 online fraud. This file is still under investigation.

On Sept. 28, Tofield RCMP were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle, which was parked in a rural area outside Tofield. Tofield RCMP attended and towed a motor vehicle and a motorcycle from the area.
