Tofield RCMP urges area residents to take part in online survey

Tofield RCMP is conducting a Community Engagement Survey, targeting residents of Tofield, Lindbrook, Ryley, Dodds, Holden, Shonts, Poe, Bardo, Haight, and areas of Beaver County who have policing services provided by the Tofield RCMP Detachment.

“The survey promotes an avenue to openly and collaboratively discuss with the public and the people we provide policing services to,” said Sgt. Lee Knelsen. “This survey touches on a number of items that the RCMP feel is important and imperative to policing needs and the safety of the public.

“Some specific items touch on areas of engaging the public with citizen led community groups (Rural Crime Watch, Citizens on Patrol, Neighbourhood Watch and Victim Services) which have the ability to assist, not replace, the RCMP in the fight against crime and allow citizens to contribute to a safer Alberta.” . . .

. . . For a three-week period from Nov. 9-30, Sgt. Knelsen will be accepting input from community members through a free, online, and anonymous survey, which can be accessed via most electronic devices including cell phones, tablets, and computers: https://bit.ly/3606yXx
