53-year-old pedestrian dead after being struck by two vehicles
The Tofield RCMP responded to 45 occurrences from November 23 to November 29, 2020 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was five traffic complaints, three false alarms, one accident and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Nov. 23, Tofield RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in Beaver County as an ATV/UTV was parked in the middle of a field. RCMP attended and spoke with the owner of the vehicle and confirmed that the ATV/UTV was not stolen and valid reasons for its placement at this location.
On Nov. 23, Tofield RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle that was parked in a ditch in Tofield. The motor vehicle was located and was towed under the authority of the Abandon Vehicles Act as it did not have valid insurance and registration. . . . contd.
