Break-ins and mischief keep Tofield RCMP busy

The Tofield RCMP responded to 31 occurrences from Dec. 7 to 13, 2020 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service was one motor vehicle collision, ten traffic complaints, two false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On Dec. 7, Tofield RCMP responded to a report of a fraud in Tofield. RCMP attended and spoke to the complainant who was concerned that tow individuals had been suspected of stealing and fraudulently taking money from a senior in the community. RCMP located and spoke to the suspects and were unable to confirm that actions were criminal in nature.

On Dec. 7, Tofield RCMP responded to a commercial break and enter to a property located in Beaver County. RCMP attended and found that the locks to the property were damaged, entry was gained and a number of items were stolen from inside the location. This file is still under investigation. . . . contd.
