Town of Tofield shop broken into, truck stolen
The Tofield RCMP responded to 34 occurrences from Dec. 28, 2020 to Jan. 3, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were five motor vehicle collisions with wildlife, three motor vehicle collisions, ten traffic complaints, three false alarms and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Dec. 28, Tofield RCMP responded to a break and enter to a commercial property in Ryley. RCMP attended and found that entry was gained through a door on the property. This file is still under investigation.
On Dec. 28, Tofield RCMP responded to a fire to a commercial building in Ryley. RCMP along with Ryley/Tofield and Holden Fire attended the scene and were able to successfully extinguish the fire. Preliminary assessment of the property appears that the fire was not suspicious in nature. . . . contd.
